Dr. Abhishek Kandwal has received his BDS( Bachelor Of Dental Surgery) from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. Post graduate in Periodontics & Oral Implantology (MDS) from Mahatama Joytiba Phule University; Bareilly, Uttarpradesh, India . Awarded with gold medal as a university topper in MDS(Master Of Dental Surgery) programme of Mahatama Joytiba Phule University. Post graduate diploma in Medico Legal Systems (PGDMLS) and post graduate diploma In Hospital Health Management (PGDHHM) from Symbiosis International University; Pune, Maharashtra India. Awarded Fellow of Academy of General Education (FAGE); Manipal India. Certificate in oral Implantology from Germany Association of Oral Implantology ( DGOI) Life member of Indian Society Of Periodontology (ISP) and Academy Of Oral Implantology (AOI), Member of German Association Of Oral Implantology ( DGOI ) Currently working as Assistant Professor in Department Of Dental Surgery at Cancer Research Institute and Himalayan Institute Of Medical Sciences; Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. Co supervisor for Dissertation of post graduate students in MD Medicine , Gynecology & Obstetrics and Microbiology at Himalayna institute of medical sciences. Clinical incharge of Periodontics, Oral Implantology and Oncodontics division of dental surgery department of Cancer Research Institute, Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust . He is Chairing the post of Hon . Editor In Chief for Indian Dental Association, Nainital, Uttarakhand India. & as a expert reviewer in pubmed index journals like ethopian journal of health sciences. Area of research interest includes Periodontics, Oral Implantology and Oncodontics. Actively involved in research and have significant indexed publication.
