I obtained Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Biotechnology from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (J.N.T.U), Hyderabad, India in 2006. I later joined the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad, India as Research assistant and worked on projects involving protein expression, purification and characterization. I have a Ph.D in Biomaterials from Deakin University, Australia and worked on various aspects of cell-material interactions with applications for bone tissue engineering. I later joined National Institute of Standards and Technology (N.I.S.T), USA as a Research Scholar and working on projects pertaining to embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cell characterization.
