I graduated from NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad, India in March 2010 with MBBS degree. I then started Masters in Public Health (MPH) majoring in Epidemiology in September 2010 at the University Of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHSC). I worked at the MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC) as a Graduate Research Assistant in Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology from January 2011 to June 2011. Here, I was involved in research in hepatocellular carcinoma, metastatic colorectal carcinoma and pancreatic cancer. I also learnt performing advanced biostatistical analysis using STATA software at UTHSC and during my work as a research assistant at MDACC. I joined Internal Medicine residency program at Staten Island University Hospital, New York from July 2011. I continued to work on institutional research projects at Staten Island University Hospital as well as secondary data analyses using databases like AFFIRM trial database, National Health and Nutrition Survey (NHANES) and Nationwide Inpatient Sample (NIS). I am currently a cardiology fellow at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Allentown, PA.
