My training is that as a molecular and cellular biologist. I have spent my post graduate life applying my training to help resolve pressing issues for humanity. A common thread in my research has been in the biomedical field where I have spent most of my time studying and manipulating the body’s natural defenses. I have employed a number of techniques to accomplish this work including: genetic manipulation/engineering, gene expression analysis/regulation, molecular immunology and gene mapping. Specific areas of study have included organ transplantation, heart disease and joint disease.
