Editor’s Note - (2020) Volume 10, Issue 2
2019 Highlights of JPHC
Dear Readers,
I am pleased to mention that during the year 2019, all issues of volume 9 were published online well within the time and the print issues were also brought out and dispatched within 30 days of publishing the issue online. JPHC during this year also brought out a supplement to March 2020 issue, which consisted of 6 abstracts of “Health Economics, Health Policy and Healthcare Management and 11th Asia Pacific Global Summit on Healthcare”.
During the calendar year 2019, JPHC received a total of 21 papers, out of which 4 articles were rejected in the preliminary screening due to plagiarism or being out of the format. During 2019 around 18 articles were subjected to the peer-review process and 18 were accepted. Average publication lag time of an article was to 6-8 weeks. I take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of Journal Editorial Board Members during the final editing of articles published and the support rendered by the Editorial Assistant, Anna Melissa in bringing out issues of JPHC in time.
I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of JPHC, the office bearers and staff of secretariat for their support in bringing out yet another volume of JPHC and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume 10 of JPHC in scheduled time.
