Biography

He obtained his BS from Beijing University, Ph. D from University of Zurich, received Postdoctoral training at Yale Medical School, and currently serves as a professor in Molecular Genetics at Tongji University School of Life Science, Shanghai, China. He has used Drosophila, the fruit fly, as a model organism to study the genetic mechanism of Alzheimer's disease (AD), cancer biology and sexual behavior. In addition, he has used the Drosophila AD model for drug screens.
