58% of people in germany would like to be cared for at home during the life phase of dying (DHPV 2016, Fricke 2017). In the district of Berlin Köpenick live more than 20% aged 65-80 years (BA Treptow Köpenick 2018). With this age structure, the residents* distinguish themselves from other Berlin districts. This is exactly where the Köpenick project with "PfiFf" has its roots. Among other things, we refer to the characteristics of experimental learning and social action, which include features such as recourse to ability and experiences or trust in network structures. The sharing of knowledge and skills within social networks empowers people.
