Ooi Jong Boon is currently a Senior Lecturer at the School of Engineering, Monash University Malaysia. He was an Assistant Professor at Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering and Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) from 2017 to 2021. He was a Lecturer at Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Tunku Abdul Rahman University College from 2011 to 2013. He received his Ph.D. from Monash University Malaysia in 2017 and M.Eng. and B.Eng.(Hons) degrees at UTAR in 2013 and 2009 respectively. He has published over 20 papers in high impact international journals and conferences. His research interests are in combustion science, internal combustion engines, biofuels, and nanotechnology.
