Abstract :

Brain metastasis are the most brain tumors and present a significant public heatlh problem. The advances in stereotatic radiosurgery studies has revealed that the total brain volume lesion may be a better prognostic index than the the number of lesions in predict overall survival. This new perpective of treatment may reduce cognitive impairement and other toxicities associated with whole brain radiaton therapy.

Biography :

Bruno Pereira has graduated in Medicine at Unimedrsidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and in 2017 completed the Resident program in Hospital Federal de Bonsucesso. He is the attending Neurosurgeon of Bruno Pereira, Cancer Foundation Hospital, Rio de Janeiro - Brazil.
