Evaluation of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte quantitative relation before prostate diagnostic test to predict diagnostic test histology: Results of 1836 patients,” by Gocke et al.1 Investigators aimed to judge the role of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte quantitative relation (NLR) before prostate diagnostic test to predict diagnostic test microscopic
anatomy and Gleason score in patients with adenocarcinoma. The mean NLR of the adenocarcinoma cluster was considerably on top of that of the benign ductless gland hypertrophy (BPH) cluster (p=0.002). The mean NLR of the redness cluster was on top of that of each the adenocarcinoma and benign prostatic hyperplasia teams (p=0.0001). The mean NLR of the Gleason score (GS) 8–10 cluster was on top of that of the GS seven and GS 5–6 teams. The authors conclude that NLR was found to vary with relevance microscopic
anatomy of prostate diagnostic test and better GS was related to higher NLR in patients with prostate cancer
