Biography

Dr. Yulin Ge is Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at New York University (NYU) School of Medicine. He received his medical degree at Shandong Medical University in 1989 and completed his diagnostic radiology residency training in 1995 in Beijing Titan Hospital. Dr. Ge has had his neuroradiology and research fellowship training in Department of Radiology at Kumamoto University (1996~1998) in Japan and at University of Pennsylvanian School of Medicine (1998~2000). In August 2001, he became a faculty member and Assistant Professor at NYU School of Medicine and Associate Professor since 2007. Dr. Ges main research interest has been focused on multiple sclerosis, head trauma, and other neurodegenerative diseases. His special interests in multiple sclerosis by using cutting-edge quantitative MR imaging have significantly helped better understanding of the pathophysiology and natural history of this disease. Many of his work have been well recognized and cited. He has authored more than 60 publications and 8 book chapters. He has won a number of awards including 2007 ASNR Cornelius G. Dyke Memorial Award and RSNA merit awards (2011, 2012). Dr Ge has been a member of several national and international society of medical imaging and serves as a reviewer for 10 Radiology and Neurology journals.
