He completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees in physics. He completed his doctorate on determining radiotherapy efficacy in lung cancer using vibrational spectroscopy. He currently work as a medical physicist at the Faculty of Medicine. His primary research interests are medical physics, radiation oncology, and vibrational spectroscopy (Raman and FT-IR) in biomedical applications. He have published numerous articles and book chapters in national and international journals on the effectiveness of spectroscopic methods in cancer diagnosis and treatment. He also have a total of five patent applications on these topics. He serve as an editor and reviewer for scientific journals and an active member of various international scientific organizations.
