Dr. Shweta Panchal is a scientific professional with experience in all the facets of dental research. Hailing from Mumbai, India, she received training at Nair Hospital Dental College to become a Bachelor of Dental Surgery followed by two years of treating patients across different clinics of Mumbai. Alongside, she also acquainted herself with the process of bringing treatments to patients: by acquiring a Masters in Clinical Research from Cranfield University, UK. Dr. Panchal proceeded to enable herself in designing advanced dental research as she moved to the USA for her Masters in Oral Sciences at SUNY-Buffalo, USA. At SUNY, Dr. Panchal was involved in recognizing the influence of magnesium levels in oral cancer tissues and researching the effects of investigative treatment regimens in reducing post-radiotherapy pain and xerostomia in patients suffering from oral squamous cell carcinoma.
Dr. Panchal’s passion for delving deeper into oncology research took her to the University of California-Irvine where she worked as a Research Coordinator, organizing Phase I-III trials for liver cancer patients. Dr. Panchal was offered to write medical articles Dlife Healthcare Inc., edit case studies, research papers for JADMI-an official journal of IDA and Cactus Communications. Dr. Panchal is currently working as a Medical Writer at Glidewell Dental Laboratories where she puts her extensive and highly varied experience into use to conduct Post-Market Surveillance Studies, writing CER’s, HHE’s, SOP’s for the company’s devices.
