Biography

Dr. Brian D. Berman is an Assistant Professor of Neurology, Psychiatry, and Radiology at the University of Colorado Denver. He graduated from medical school at the University of Colorado and completed his neurology residency training at the University of California at San Francisco and a post-doctoral clinical research fellowship at the Human Motor Control Section of the National Institutes of Health. Berman’s clinical duties include seeing a variety of neurological patients in the Movement Disorders Clinic at the University of Colorado Hospital and examining research patients at Clinical and Translational Research Center at the University of Colorado Hospital. His investigative activities include exploring clinical applications of real-time fMRI and using structural and functional imaging to study the pathophysiology of Parkinson disease and dystonia.
