Ph.D. in Physiology from Xi’an Medical University (1998) followed by postdoctoral studies in State Key Laboratory of Medical Neurobiology, Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University (1998-2000). 2000-2002, associate professor at the Institute of Neurobiology, Fudan University. 2002-present, full professor at the Institute ofNeurobiology, Fudan University. 2003-2004, visiting professor, Department of Cell Biology, Neurobiology and Anatomy, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. 2004, gained National Outstanding Young Scientists Award. Research grants awarded: National Basic Research Program of China, National Natural Science Fund of China, Program for Changjiang Scholars and Innovative Research Team in University, Research Fund for Doctoral Program of Higher Education, and National Institutes of Health Grants FIRCA. Membership: member of a council, Chinese Society for Neuroscience. Editorial board of Acta Physiol Sinica, Neurosci Bull, and Open Pain Journal.
