She is awarded PhD in Physiology FROM Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia. She did her B.A. in Biology at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. She has extended her valuable service as an Professor in Department of Neurological Sciences, University of Vermont and has been a recipient of many award and grants. Her research interests reflect in her wide range of publications in various national and international journals. She is also the course director and a lecturer in ANNB302, Human Neuroscience, a graduate level course for doctoral students in the Rehabilitation and Movement Science Department.
