Assistant Professor Dr Salunya graduated with a bachelor degree in Dental Surgery (DDS) with 1st class honours and gold medal award from Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University in 1999. She received a full scholarship from the Japanese government to continue her Ph.D. in Oral Biology and a certificate in restorative dentistry and endodontics at Kagoshima University Graduate School of Medical and Dental Science, Japan from 2001-2005. She also carried out her post-doctoral scholarship in basic and clinical immunology at Tokyo Medical and Dental University and Kagoshima University Graduate School of Medical and Dental Science, Japan from 2008-2009. She has been a recipient of many award and grants. Her international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. Her research interests as an Assistant Professor reflect in her wide range of publications in various national and international journals. She is the Editorial Board Member of Journal of Neurology & Neurophysiology.
