Maxwell Boakye

Dr. Boakye is a board certified neurosurgeon in academic practice at the University of Louisville. He is the Principal Investigator of the University of Louisville sites for the National Neurosurgery Quality and Outcomes Database (N2QOD) and the North American Clinical Trials Network (NACTN), the largest network of centers that perform spinal cord injury clinical trials. His clinical practice focuses on general neurosurgery, brain tumors, complex spinal neurosurgery, spine radiosurgery, spinal cord injury, and minimally invasive spine surgery. As a clinician-scientist he devotes about half of his time to patient centered outcomes research, comparative effectiveness research, spinal cord and brain injury research.
