Biography

 Kelvin Wilson, M.D. was born in Jackson, MS and subsequently lived throughout the south and mid-west as an Army dependent. He attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga on full scholarship graduating with a B.S. in Biology in 2005. In 2006 he attended East Tennessee State University’s James H. Quillen College of Medicine where he achieved his M.D.

 Dr. Wilson graduated in the top 3 of 66 students with a GPA of 3.9. He was elected to AOA as a junior, serving as vice-president, and was instrumental in planning/organizing/participating in his senior service project, “2nd Annual Trot 4 Tots 5K” where $2500 was raised for the area children’s advocacy center. Dr. Wilson was also elected to the Gold Humanism Honor Society as a junior, where he was key in bringing the NY Times best-selling author of “Look Me in the Eye” John Robison to ETSU, who gave a highly attended motivational talk and a series lectures on Asperger syndrome and the autism spectrum. Additionally, Dr. Wilson served as a 2LT in the reserves as an Army Health Professions Scholarship Program student at Quillen. He is now promoted to Captain in the Army on active duty while training at UF.
