Gernot Luthringshausen completed his Medical studies at the University of Innsbruck with internships in Switzerland, Germany and Hong Kong and attained Promotion at the University of Innsbruck. He pursued Training for "medical practitioner" (specialist in general medicine) to the state hospitals Salzburg. He served Since 1982 at the Landesnervenklinik Salzburg (Christian Doppler Clinic) at the neurology and psychiatry with specialist training,Since 1990 Specialist in neurology and psychiatry. Additional diploma "EEG" and senior physician,Since 1994 in the list of sworn court expert for the subject area "nervous and mental diseases" (now "Court recognized and certified expert" Additional diploma Neurology and Psychiatry (intensive care). "Manual Therapy", "Clinical investigator"and in 1996 appointed as Deputy Division Executive Board as "first senior physician".Since 2002 he is a board member of the Austrian Headache Society and since 2004 lecturer at the PMU Salzburg (Paracelsus Medical University) Department of Neurology
