Gerald A Grant graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. degree in Neurosciences from Duke University then completed his medical education at Stanford University School of Medicine in 1994. He completed residency at the University of Washington in 2001 and Fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery at Seattle Children’s Hospital in 2002. Dr. Grant then entered on active duty with the United States Air Force as part of a Health Professions Scholarship Program and was Chief of Neurosurgery at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland Air Force Base Texas. Dr. Grant deployed to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany and Balad Air Base, Iraq, as Chief of Neurosurgery, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
