Gabriel Pardo, MD, is Director of the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Center of Excellence in Oklahoma City, OK and Associate Member of the OMRF Arthritis and Clinical Immunology Research Program. He is an ophthalmologist and neurologist, being board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He completed a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology. He is Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Oklahoma. In addition, Dr Pardo serves on many national professional committees, including the National Clinical Advisory Board of the National MS Society. His research interests focus on identifying objectives markers of disease activity or progression, and advanced clinical and translational research. His clinical goals include providing MS patients with access to multidisciplinary comprehensive care, educational seminars, clinical trials, and clinical research in order to ensure successful treatment outcomes. His research has been widely published, and he serves as a reviewer for several major peer-reviewed biomedical journals. In addition to his numerous accomplishments pertaining to MS research, he was inducted into the Volunteer Hall of Fame of the National MS Society under the Health Professionals/Research category.
