Fahad Hanna

Dr Fahad Hanna is a public health/clinical researcher with a particular interest in healthy ageing and global health. He currently holds an NHMRC Postdoctoral Research Fellowship. His current and forthcoming include ASCEND (Building the Asian non-communicable disease research network for regional research capacity) as well as the Kerala diabetes prevention program (K-DPP)
Fahad has been successful in obtaining a Graduate Certificate in Education for Health Professionals. He has been extensively involved with teaching, coordinating and curriculum developments in the new bachelor of Health Sciences at Monash.
Fahad completed a medical undergrad degree (MBBS) in Syria, his native country, followed by an honours degree in Molecular Biology (genetics) in Australia. He then did his PhD in clinical research, specifically on osteoarthritis of the knee.
