Biography
Dr. Douglas R. Denney was born on March 30,1945 at Los Angeles, California. He got his undergraduate training in B.A. Psychology from Lehigh University till the year 1966 followed by  Ph.D. in Psychology from University of Washington in 1970. During 1969-70, he pursued clinical trainings at Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Unit and Congenital Defects Clinic from University of Washington School of Medicine. Later he joined Young Veterans Program and Alcoholic Treatment Program at American Lake Veterans Administration Hospital at Tacoma, Washington.
 
From 1970 onwards, Dr. Denney got appointed as Assistant Professor at State University of New York College at Buffalo for a period of two years ang then tranferred to University of Kansas for the period of three years. Later, in the University of Kansas, he got honored with several rewards being Director, Associate Professor, Associate Chairman and Professor for the department of Psychiatry and Neurology and is currently acting as Professor of Neurology (courtesy), at the same university.  
 
He has received a number if grants fot his projects and has published a big number of articles in various national and international journals. 
 
Research Interest

Dr. Douglas is primarily interested in different aspects of Clinical Psychology.
