Biography

Having a scientific research background and analytical experience, where problem troubleshooting and solving was the norm, ihe felt hisa skills could either complement or enhance those available in the Foundation Trust to aid with implementation in the delivery of care and services to the public.  He feels the personal benefit of working for the Foundation Trust is to gain an oversight of the NHS procedures to serve the local community and ensure that the correct policies to deliver public health are adopted and put into practice, where the most rewarding aspects of the Governor's task will consist in working with specific areas of interest at Committee level, to steer medical care facilities to cope with extra demand and emergencies hence delivering a more satisfying outcome. His main interests have centred mainly in the welfare, care and wellbeing of people at the early and later stages of life, because these phases constitute the more vulnerable periods where an extra helping hand is most welcome, and hopes the opportunity to work with the Council of Governors and other health policy makers could provide the means to achieve a "user friendly" NHS experience for the public, during critical periods of illness and perhaps use of hospital facilities.
