Ante Buca
Professor, Clinical Department of Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology
Prof. Ph. D.. Ante Buca studied at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb (1971.1979). Specialization in radiology performed in the Clinical Hospital in Split and Clinical Hospital "Sisters of Charity" in Zagreb (1984th-1988th), and since 2003 the sub-specialist radiologist. He received his MA in 1995 in Zagreb on the theme: "The value of CT findings in the analysis emboliÃÂkog attack ". Doctoral dissertation on the topic: "The prognostic value of computed tomography of the brain in patients with supratentorial infarction ", defended in Rijeka in 1999. In 2002 he was appointed assistant professor at the Department of Medical Diagnostics, subsection Radiology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Split. 2007 was again re-elected as assistant professor at the University of Split. Actively involved in the teaching of radiology at the University of Split from 1988. Since 1995, the head of the practice of radiology at the University of Split. Actively involved in the teaching of professional studies for engineers Medical Radiology. The head of the clinical department in the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology KBC Split. 1999 and 2000, educated in Hungary and Slovenia, and is certified to work on CT and MRI Prof. Ph. D.. Ante Buca has participated in a number of domestic and international conferences and professional conferences and published a number of scientific papers that are cited 22 times in total. 2 He participated in the project "Hemodynamics and transfer factor of interstitial lung diseases", with financial support of the Ministry of Science in the period 1992 - 1996 under No. 3-01- 227, and the project "Early diagnosis and thrombolytic therapy for ischemic stroke shock "that takes place since 2006.
