COVID-19 will be the biggest issue facing healthcare
systems around the world, so all of the countries search
for the development of treatments and vaccines for it.
Escalating Daily numbers of cases and death tolls caused
increasing at an alarming rate. Ten million people have
now been infected by COVID-19 worldwide; with about
nine hundred thousand of them have died. The infected
persons in Iran have been 225,205 with the mortality
rate of 10,670 (until July 10th, 2020). In this paper,
a population of 8874 chronic diabetic patients involved
with COVID-19 compared to other patients on various
indicators such as mortality rate and the average duration
of hospitalization.
