Celiac disease (CD) may be a systemic, immune-mediated disorder that primarily affect intestine and triggered by dietary gluten in genetically susceptible individuals. Gluten may be a water insoluble protein complex which is found in wheat, rye and barley. a big finding of disorder is villous atrophy of intestine which results in nutrient malabsorption and broad range of clinical manifestations. Osteoporosis may be a complication of untreated disorder . the tiny intestine is liable for absorbing important nutrients, like calcium. Calcium is important for building and maintaining healthy bones. Even people with disorder who consume enough calcium are often deficient during this nutrient.
