Hydroxylation

Hydroxylation is a synthetic procedure that presents a hydroxyl bunch (- OH) into a natural compound. In organic chemistry, hydroxylation responses are regularly encouraged by proteins called hydroxylases. Hydroxylation is the initial phase in the oxidative corruption of natural mixes in air. It is critical in detoxification since hydroxylation changes over lipophilic mixes into water-solvent (hydrophilic) items that are all the more promptly expelled by the kidneys or liver and discharged. A few medications (for instance, steroids) are initiated or deactivated by hydroxylation.
