I am a medical oncologist from Spain. I started my residency at Hospital del Mar in 2015. During my residency, I had the opportunity to treat all types of cancer. When I advanced in my training, I focused on head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and GU tumors. In my last year of residency, I did a stage in the USA in San Diego with Dr Cohen, one of the most prestigious medical oncologists in Head and Neck tumors. During my training, I also became interested in the world of clinical trials, which is currently my favorite part of oncology. When I finished my training, I worked for a few months at Vall d'Hebron, one of the most important hospitals in Spain. There I worked in the Head and Neck Unit. Then I returned to Hospital del Mar to start a new project with the Head and Neck Tumor Unit, in two and a half years we started some clinical trials and some translational projects. Also at the Hospital del Mar, I have participated in the Genitourinary and Early Drug Unit. A month ago, I moved to the Hospital Universitari Mútua de Terrassa to start a new project, with a new team. My new hospital has a very important potential to grow and it is a very important opportunity to improve my professional life.
